Sustainability is not merely an environmental imperative; it is a process of redesigning education systems, curricula, institutional structures and the roles of teachers with a flexible, resilient and inclusive vision. At this critical juncture, the fundamental question shaped by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals is this: as we nurture the generations who will build the world of the future, how will we reposition education, schools and teachers?

The 4th International ESEP Congress on Educational Sciences and Effective Practices (ESEPCongress26), which has made it its mission to bring together multidisciplinary and ecosystem-focused approaches in education, opens its doors this year with this profound inquiry. Organised under the leadership of LEGADDER, hosted by Anadolu University, and in strategic partnership with Amasya University, Çukurova University, Erciyes University, Harran University and Siirt University, our congress brings together the academic world where scientific knowledge is generated with the field and classroom practices where this knowledge is applied, on a single platform.

ESEPCongress26 will commence with online sessions on 14–15 October 2026 and continue with in-person sessions from 15–18 October 2026. Taking place in Eskişehir—a meeting point of history and culture—ESEPCongress26 will be held in a hybrid format, featuring inspiring panels and conferences. Our conference is open to all original academic research and examples of best practice from a wide range of disciplines—including the social and human sciences, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, health, the arts and sport—provided that education and teaching remain the central focus. Your participation will make a meaningful and valuable contribution to the academic and scientific enrichment of our conference.
